Kerr Global Communications Teams Up With Clean Nova Scotia

Dartmouth, NS-Kerr Global Communications, a Maritime owned and operated company, announced today that they will be running a yearlong pilot project with Clean Nova Scotia’s Fleetwiser Program and the Residential Energy Affordability Project (REAP).

“We have been helping many clients across Canada lower emissions and raise operating profits by delivering detailed fleet data; it is very exciting to be able to work Clean Nova Scotia in our own backyard to help educate local businesses on the advantages of GPS Fleet Tracking” said Mike Herenberg, VP at Kerr Global Communications.

Kerr Global will install their GPS system on the Clean Nova Scotia vehicles to assist with REAP program delivery and performance tracking.  By targeting key improvement areas, Clean Nova Scotia will be able to provide tangible information to their clients on how to more effectively run their vehicles. Bell will act as a third partner, to supply data on the Bell network.  The vehicles used in the pilot are run province wide.

“The historical information captured by GPS, will be useful for us to administer our programs,” said Rob Mains of REAP.

“Through this pilot, we will be able to more effectively monitor fleet efficiency by targeting areas such as idling and speed reduction, route planning and preventative maintenance,” added Derek Gillis of Fleetwiser.

The results of this project will be documented in a case study later this year. For more information please contact Sean McKenna, 902 446 3930 x208 or smckenna@kerrglobal.com
